Privacy Policy

The Performance Lab (“TPL,” “we,” “us”) provides a training and performance-tracking platform for baseball coaches, organizations, and athletes. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address, role (player, coach, or admin), and organization membership.
• Profile and athlete details — sport, graduation year, batting/throwing hand, and similar information you or your coach provide.
• Performance data — workout completions, programming, goals, and metrics such as exit velocity, pitch velocity, and related batted-ball and pitching data.
• Video — clips you upload for coach review, stored and processed through our video provider.
• Device and usage data — push-notification tokens and basic technical information needed to operate the app.

How we use information

• To deliver training programs, track progress, and enable coach feedback.
• To send program updates, assignments, and reminders via push notification (with your permission).
• To operate, secure, and improve the platform.

How information is shared

Your data is visible to the coaches and organization administrators you are associated with. We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the platform (for example, our hosting, database, and video-processing providers) and when required by law.

Data retention and deletion

You can permanently delete your account at any time from the mobile app (Profile → Delete account) or by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your profile and associated data from our active systems. You may also request deletion by emailing support@theperformancelabtraining.com.

Children’s privacy

TPL is used by athletes who may be minors. Accounts are created and managed through coaches and organizations. If you believe a minor’s information has been provided without appropriate consent, contact us and we will address it.
